Fence co. cops to immigration charges

Six Swift & Company meat processing plants are shut down today as officials from the U.S. Office of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division raided the facilities. Reports are the action is the result of a year-long investigation into the theft of identification and Social Security numbers which were allegedly used to secure employment at the company.
